Players spotted at the event include Phil Ivey, Barry Greenstein, Phil Hellmuth, Huck Seed, Jeff Lisandro, Men “the master” Nguyen, John Juanda, Howard Lederer, Annette Obrestad, Chris Ferguson, Allen Cunningham, Tom Dwan, Barny Boatman, Roberto Romanello, Erik Seidel, Theo Jorgensen, Andy Bloch, Dave “Devilfish” Ulliott and last years PLO champion Jani Vilmunen.

Huck Seed, LuckyChewy shone in Doubles Poker Championship by putting up an impressive performance. During the second half-hour of coverage, former World Poker Tour (WPT) Championship winner David Chiu teamed with Jennifer Harman.

UB.com pro Annie Duke teamed with David Oppenheim, Gus Hansen teamed with Justin “Boosted J” Smith, and Andrew “luckychewy” Lichtenberger partnered with Huck Seed. Interestingly, Seed won the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event in 1996 when Lichtenberger was just eight years old.

When it comes to large field tournaments, it’s unusual for a number of top pros to weave their way through the tournament and be in contention near the end, but this is exactly what has happened in the $1,500 Omaha 8 or better tournament at the 2010 World Series of Poker.

Among the remaining 26 players vying for the coveted WSOP bracelet, not to mention the 6-figure payday, are Dan Heimiller, Shawn Buchanan, Jeff Madsen, Ylon Schwartz, David Bach, and Huck Seed.
